Shigaraki ware production area In Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, an event was held to resonate your belly using a raccoon dish of pottery as a model and compete for its tone and uniqueness.
This event is held every year by local tourism associations, and 24 men and women from 1 to 64 years old participated.
Participants will beat the belly six times in response to the singing of “If you are happy, the belly” and compete for the tone, uniqueness, and greatness of the belly.
An 11-year-old boy from Hino-cho, Shiga Prefecture, was struggling hard wearing a fancy dress carrying a red-burned firewood that imaged “tickling ticks”.
A 52-year-old beautician who was a local born and had won six times, devised how to beat the belly and played the scales and melodies, and he boiled the venue.
This event was the last to be held since it was a 10th milestone, and as a result of the examination, a beautician man won the seventh victory.
The man said, “I was able to keep going. Ten years was quick, but I am worried about what I should be doing if this tournament is gone.”
