Egyptian actress Laila Alawi will be the guest of the Sharjah International Book Fair next Tuesday in a session with Syrian actor Abed Fahd, Egyptian novelist Ahmed Murad and Lebanese producer Sadek Al Sabah.

The session, which is organized under the title of "Books and the Film Industry", is moderated by the Syrian journalist Zeina Al-Yazji and discusses the relationship between creative literature and cinema and television screens.

It is noteworthy that Leila Alawi embodied the character «Samiha» in the film «Les Miserables», taken from the novel by the French writer Victor Hugo, also participated in the series based on the novel by Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz late «morning and evening talks», and provided the role of «Huda Hanim» The series titled the same novel.

In his career, Abed Fahad participated in several television works based on novels, such as "When the Wolves Aged", about the novel of the same title of the late Jordanian novelist Jamal Naji, and the series Samarkand, based on the novel by Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf.
