The Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in Dubai celebrated the poet Qasim Haddad yesterday in the presence of a qualitative public audience on the occasion of the publication of his book “Isolation of Queens and the Treatment of Distance”. His poems received by the audience with greater appreciation and admiration, as reflected his privacy and uniqueness in his poetic vision, and his victory for humanism, which addresses all kinds of oppression and injustice and restrict human freedoms.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, Abdul Hamid Ahmed, a member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mutawa, and a large audience of intellectuals and interested people, who circled around Qasim Haddad, and signed them copies of his book «isolation of queens and treatment of distance», which was issued recently About the Foundation in the series «Winners», which confirms the uniqueness of his experience formed in the Gulf region in the last quarter of the twentieth century, where he called through his poem to devote a new vision dealing with life in a modern humane. The film was also screened by Khaled Al-Ruwaie, which is about the creativity of Qasim Haddad's experience.He talked about his experience and his vision of many creative, human and life stations, with the participation of novelist Amin Saleh, artist Khaled Al-Sheikh, and artist Jabbar Ghadban. Al-Ruwaie, the director of the film, welcomed the audience with a brief speech, in which he explained the value of producing such an accurate film about a creator with his most prominent presence on the poetic scene. The 64-minute film took the audience to different worlds in the process of mourning poetry, a film that finally won several awards, most recently the Orinus Film Award in Italy for the best documentary, as well as winning the Excellence Award at the festival. The film also won the Bronze Award at the Spotlight Documentary Awards, which was held in Atlanta, USA, and won the Gold Award at the Independent International Film Awards in California, with a total of 11 awards from around the world.
