On the occasion of the launch in November of its new tour throughout France, the 71-year-old singer presented her latest album "Postcard of Portugal" on Wednesday on Europe 1.

Linda de Suza kicks off her new show The Ten Commandments , where she will sing the titles of her latest album, Portugal Postcard , accompanied by Pedro Alves, the young fadist Mara Pedro and a troupe of 5 musicians. "I gathered all my memories of the country in this album," told the star Wednesday on Europe 1.

20 million records sold in forty years of career

After 40 years of career, 14 albums and 20 million records sold, she is considered the most famous Portuguese singer of France. Her career began in 1966, when she left her homeland to settle in Paris. She is then a maid and sings in her spare time in restaurants.

Spotted by producer Claude Carrère, she then met with success in France with the songs The Portuguese and Tiroli-Tirola in the 1980s. "All my songs are like my children," she says today.
