A Brazilian girl beat her pregnant sister to death, then extracted her fetus from her womb, and gave it to one of the kidnappers of the children.
Fabiana Santana, 23, who is eight months pregnant, was beaten with a metal stick by her younger sister, the Sun newspaper reported.
Police found the fetus, extracted by the teenager, 13, from her sister, alive.
The baby, who weighs 3.9 pounds (1.8 kg), is now under medical care at the old Porto Biz Hospital and is said to be in good health despite his violent birth.
