This spring, Iron Man, Captain America and the rest of the Avengers gang hit with super villain Thanos in the box office hit "Avengers: Endgame."

But the grand final battle will be the last of its kind in a few years. When the Marvel film studio enters its so-called fourth phase of films, it wants to invest in standalone superhero stories and on smaller projects in the context.

The next "Endgame" -like mastodont movie is about ten years away, believes producer Trinh Tran, who has worked with the two latest "Avengers" films.

"Our focus right now is to make the titles in phase four new, exciting and different," she tells the site Cinema Blend.
