Blind auditions continue on the Voice show - on the eve of the third day of recruitment to the teams. Unlike the version for the older generation - the project “Voice. 60+ ”- here the mentors lead teams of a larger size, which means more time will be spent on filling all the vacant places.
The interpretation of the song We Will Rock You from Irina Chuvakova from the first notes fell in love with Konstantin Meladze, Polina Gagarina and Sergey Shnurov - later, Valery Syutkin decided not to remain indifferent. Meladze noted that Polina Gagarina sings almost as well as the contestant, but Chuvakova chose to take a place in the Shnurov team.
Daniil Korolev interested three members of the jury with an ethnic composition with elements of throat singing “When I was Young” - this time Valery Syutkin did not join his colleagues. Korolev decided to continue the competition with Konstantin Meladze, who first appreciated his voice.
She brought her note of rock to the project of Milan Rakhmanov. Polina Gagarina could not sit in a chair listening to her version of the Toxic song, and following the results of her performance, all the mentors offered Rakhmanova a place in their teams.
"I was waiting for you. I came here for you, ”admitted Polina Gagarina.
However, the performer chose Sergei Shnurov and said that she loves to have fun in karaoke, performing songs of the Leningrad group.
Maxim Larichev applied for participation every year, from the first season of the show. For the debut in the project, he chose the country song SOB, to which the audience and the jury very much vividly responded - Polina Gagarina and Valery Syutkin. Larichev continued his participation in the project as part of the Gagarina team.
Vladimir Konovalov developed a recipe for success from early childhood: "You just have to cry so that everyone pats you." A place in the team of Valery Syutkin was ensured by the song “Mists”. Sergei Shnurov noted that he did not press a button out of a desire to cede the participant to a colleague. But Konstantin Meladze did not appreciate the performance, and even called the number "male hysteria."
The representative of Kiev, Renata Shtifel, conquered all four members of the jury with the composition “My Mother's Wife” - and the audience met the singer with a long standing ovation, despite the fact that she made a small mistake in the performance. “Here, it would seem, such an archaic topic - and such a reading. Even your breakdown is only good, ”Valery Syutkin commented on the speech. Stifel preferred Konstantin Meladze as a mentor.
Liana Meister presented the song Ich hob dich zifeel lieb (translated from Yiddish - “I just loved you so much”) in two languages at once, and the Russian text, as the singer admitted after the performance, was written by her mother. It seemed even to Valery Syutkin that the Odessa-grandmother smiled at him “from another dimension”, and he happily accepted Meister into his team.
17-year-old Emily Cooper came to the show after her younger sister, who participated in the project “Voice. Children". She performed the minor arrangement of the song Every Breath You Take. In the next stage of the show, the young singer will perform under the direction of Polina Gagarina.
Of course, not all musicians will continue to participate in the competition. Eduard Dziube with the song of Muslim Magomayev “Your Traces” did not find a place in the teams of mentors. Valery Syutkin compared the performance with figure skating: in his opinion, Dziuba perfectly fulfilled the mandatory program, but he didn’t have any. Konstantin Meladze noted that the song does not fit well with the image and age of the 23-year-old performer.
Natalia Svetlova repeated the song “I like that you are not ill with me”, known for the film “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” - both the vocal and the guitar parts. Mentors generally appreciated the performance, but did not see prospects for the singer in the project.
Alexander Novichkov, who sang the hit of the American band Maroon 5 - This Love - was also not lucky enough to continue participating in the show.
“She was sung so many times, this song, and almost nobody managed to do it really cool,” said Polina Gagarina.
Not delighted the mentors and Mambo Italiano in the interpretation of Valentin Lakodin. Gagarina especially hoped that Valery Syutkin would invite her to the contestant team.
“Music is the language of feelings. If the feeling doesn’t come, I won’t press, no matter how you press me, ”Syutkin commented on his decision.
Konstantin Meladze suggested that it was difficult for Lakodin to combine singing and playing the double bass.
