Why is Marie Ehrling petitioned prematurely?

- Marie Ehrling has been involved in running a deal, the acquisition of TV4, which is the largest owner the state has explicitly opposed. It made it very difficult for her to sit still. CEO Johan Dennelind also chose to retire this summer, says Johanna Cervenka.

Is this purchase affected by Bonnier Broadcasting (TV4)?

- Telia has entered into an agreement and tearing it up seems messy and expensive. At the same time, one should never say never, and the EU competition authority has not yet given the deal a green light.

If the purchase of TV4 goes through, the state, which already owns public service, will become dominant in the TV market. Is this a problem for the state?

- Yes, it is because there has been criticism of excessive concentration of power. That is why the responsible minister, Minister of Business Affairs Mikael Damberg, has made a critical statement about the deal. But apparently it has been considered difficult to stop. To now kick the chairman clearly raises questions about how good governance really is the state in a company where you are the main owner.
