“We are launching from Monday a completely transparent system of all state support for the film industry,” Medinsky said, noting that such a system “probably isn’t anywhere in the world.”

According to him, a “board of shame” with the names of “cinema swindlers” who receive state funds for filming films but don’t return the return part or films for the allocated money will be publicly available.

As the Minister emphasized, such people discredit the industry and do not allow “effective producers” to work normally.

“Naturally, no one on this list will ever receive state support until they finish their relationship with the state and return the money,” he said.

A system containing data on the volumes and conditions of state support from the Ministry of Culture and the Cinema Fund from 2015 will be launched on the website of the Unified Automated Information System for Films in Cinema Halls (UAIS).

Earlier, Putin at a meeting with graduates of VGIK welcomed the position of the Ministry of Culture on the fight against Internet cinema piracy.
