On Europe 1, in "L'Equipée sauvage", the journalist evokes the media rhythm, whereas she launches since the autumn a new cultural meeting on France 5.

INTERVIEW

Claire Chazal presents each evening, from Monday to Friday, a new cultural meeting at 8:20 pm on France 5: Passage des arts . An intimate face-to-face with a guest, in which she takes the time to evoke her universe. A unique daily box that the journalist held at the time of a world punctuated by "a zapping" permanent according to her.

A 25-minute daily on culture on TV? "It's unique in France"

At the microphone of Europe 1 in L'Equipée sauvage , Claire Chazal laments that the world around us is dictated by a certain "speed", a constant "zapping" and "hastily commented". "We die of the lack of complexity", she regrets. "Let's try to see nuances, and that the problems are more complicated than they say." A principle she wants to apply to his new show on France 5. Claire Chazal is also pleased that this 25-minute daily cultural program can exist: "It's unique in France."

"We want to be very open and non-elitist"

With Passage des Arts , the idea is to have "a public a little warned, but also to try to conquer audiences who are not necessarily followers of the demanding culture," says the journalist. "We want to be very open, non-elitist: we want to convey desires, desires, passions," adds Claire Chazal. Since September, the former presenter of the 20 Hours hosted Xavier Dolan, Mika, Raymond Depardon, Izïa Higelin or Guillaume Gallienne. "We realize that these artists come willingly," rejoices Claire Chazal. "We want to show these worlds to viewers."
