Egyptian actress Dina El Sherbini has stirred a storm of controversy in Saudi Arabia for her open-air dress, which appeared in the Kingdom with the artist Amr Diab, while attending the awards ceremony organized by the Entertainment Authority during the Riyadh season.
The singers launched a stinging attack on the artist Amr Diab and Dina Al-Sherbini, who appeared at the concert together, where Saudis described Al-Sherbini's clothes as "indecent", demanding the application of the list of public taste on it, as well as other artists who were subject to financial penalties for appearing in clothes contrary to public taste.
Dina al-Sherbini appeared in a short black dress exposed chest, and social networking sites saw angry reactions to Sherbini's clothes, accusing her of not having any sense and understand that the dress must be in the right place and time, according to some.
Some stressed that the presence of "Dina" in this way contrary to the list of public taste, demanding Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh to apply the system to Dina and prevent it from entering, otherwise everything will be permissible in Saudi Arabia even "Bikini", as they put it.
The entertainment authority in Saudi Arabia organized a huge celebration at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, attended by a large number of stars of art, sports and media, during the activities of the Riyadh season, which began on October 11 and runs until December.
