Suruç is a small Kurdish town in southern Turkey, 10 kilometers from Kobane on the other side of the Syrian border. The population overwhelmingly votes for mayors of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) .
This pro Kurdish training is the only Turkish political party to oppose the Ankara military operation. A team from France 24 went to meet these inhabitants, a few days after the start of the Turkish offensive against Kurdish forces in northeastern Syria.
