My brother shot this video when my grandmother was nevertheless told that I had been blocked from entering for 5 years !!! She wanted with her pain from injustice to reach the soul of those who had traded their souls for a long time for coppers !!! The whole family barely persuaded her not to do this! A week later she was gone! Today on her birthday, I can’t put flowers on her grave and remember in the circle of loved ones! The accusation made by the Court 3 Years ago, relying only on a lying article on the Internet, it’s hard to even call him a “journalist”, and the pressure of a family of bloodthirsty deputies with poisonous salivating mesentery Ganba Zaprodanka looks absurd and ridiculous! I am Natasha Koroleva throughout the entire post-Soviet space personify like no one from the artistic environment the color, temperament, spirit of Ukraine !!! I always emphasize and never shy away from my origin! They accused me of: I spend my time doing the right thing to change my mind before handing it off at the internal help desk. Ukraine and the execution of the wrong manifestations! Perhaps this is a song about a Kiev boy or a small country, or tulips that are yellow in separation, so scared by their calls for extremism ?! Three years have passed ... during this time, much has changed in Ukraine, and I believe and hope for the better! Young and decent people with a sober outlook on life came to power! I sent a letter addressed to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky @zelenskiy_official with a request to save money and fabricated it. I will help and allow me to leave my country for my historical fatherland !!! Only he, by his own will, can cancel this shameful sentence, understanding how with the actors of the beloved national television series “Matchmakers” the whole obscurity of the situation and the madness of the previous government !!! I believe and hope that on such a great feast of the Protection of the Holy Virgin, a miracle will happen and good will triumph, and my grandmother in heaven will wait for a fair decision and rest in Peace !!! I love you, grandma, deak you for love, for your love for generosity I’m lying in good and good people! Happy Afternoon Narodna Babushya !!!!! #natashakoroleva #granny #birthday #symbolism #Ukraine

Koroleva was banned from entering Ukraine in October 2016 - as the singer said, she was among the first stars of Russian show business, in respect of whom they made an appropriate decision. In December 2016, her concert was to be held in Kiev, but the show was canceled, and the artist was denied access to the country for five years. Roman Nedzelsky, director of the Ukraine Palace, where Korolev was planning her performance, estimated the losses of the institution (as well as the state budget) at 1.3 million rubles.

In March 2019, in Tigran Keosayan’s “International Sawmill” program on NTV, Natasha Koroleva said that the Security Service of Ukraine found calls for extremism in her work. First of all, according to the singer, this concerns the composition "Little Country".

In her Instagram, the singer suggested what other songs could embarrass the Ukrainian authorities. “Perhaps this is a song about a Kiev boy or a small country, or tulips that are yellow in color, so frightened with their calls for extremism ?!” - she was indignant.

The artist believes that after three years after the change of president, the attitude to her work can be reconsidered.

"Only he (Vladimir Zelensky . - RT ) can voluntarily reverse this shameful sentence, understanding how with the actors of the beloved national television series" Matchmakers ", the whole absurdity of the situation and the madness of the previous government!" - the singer writes in her Instagram.

Natasha Koroleva’s grandmother died on January 18, 2017 at the age of 94. Then the singer asked to let her attend the funeral in Kiev. Representatives of the SBU temporarily allowed her to enter the country, and after parting, Koroleva left Ukraine.

In her post, Natasha Koroleva also noted that she does not hide her Ukrainian origin and even focuses on it. The singer was born in Kiev, studied music here, and later performed at Ukrainian music festivals. Her mother Lyudmila Ivanovna Poryvay is an Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Koroleva did not have Ukrainian citizenship, however, already having moved to Moscow, the artist often returned to her homeland: she came on tour, shot videos, collaborated with local groups. Also, the singer was engaged in charity work - she supported the orphanage in Nikolaev. In 2012, Natasha Koroleva received the international Person of the Year Award in Ukraine.

Lawsuit against SBU

In December 2016, Natasha Koroleva filed a lawsuit against the SBU in the district administrative court of Kiev in order to cancel the decision to ban entry. According to media reports, the court satisfied the requirements of the singer’s representatives, obliging the Security Service to explain the reasons for the ban on entry.

Several court hearings were held, including closed ones, as a result of which the Supreme Court of Ukraine refused Koroleva to satisfy the claim.

In September 2018, Natasha Koroleva reported that her lawyers submitted the case file to the European Court of Human Rights.

Representatives of the artist emphasize that in her creative and social activities there was nothing of what the SBU usually considers sufficient to ban entry into the country. In particular, the singer did not attend the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR.

Although Korolev is not allowed into the territory of Ukraine, she is not on the list of people who “pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine” (as of October 11, 2019). At the same time, the list includes Nadezhda Babkina, Nikita Mikhalkov, Sergey Bezrukov, Evelina Bledans, Pavel Lungin, Grigory Leps, Valentina Talyzina, Nikolai Tsiskaridze and other cultural figures.

Entrance to Ukraine is also prohibited for some foreign cultural figures. Among them are actors Gerard Depardieu and Stephen Seagal, as well as boxer Roy Jones — the Younger (all have Russian citizenship). For visiting the Crimea, the director "Emir Kusturitsa also appeared on the" black list ". In March 2019, without explanation, the Italian singer Al Bano (Albano Carrizi) was listed. Currently, 151 people are on the list posted on the website of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
