Tashkeel Center in Dubai has announced the launch of the autumn and winter season in a new format, which includes seven exhibitions, 73 workshops, and three dialogue sessions open to the participation of the public and creative professionals, until next December.

Tashkeel Fall and Winter 2019, for young, old and family, is held in five different locations: Tashkeel Center in Nad Al Sheba, Tashkeel Center Al Fahidi (Manzil 10), Dubai Design District, Dubai Youth Center, and Van Cleef & Arpels Salon in Dubai Opera. The events will focus on design this season, reflecting its strong presence at the Dubai Design Week, which will be held in November, in parallel with Tashkeel's keenness to continue its commitment to the visual arts in the UAE.

Comprehensive program

“The autumn and winter season at Tashkeel is a testament to the diversity of the design landscape, its progress and continued growth in the UAE,” said Lisa Balichgar, Deputy Director of the Center. Events

The exhibition "The Return of Graduates" and its accompanying program, which consists of dialogue sessions and specialized workshops, until 29 th, will discuss the works of eight newly acquired artists from some of the best educational institutions in Britain and the United States; Fine Arts), Mohammed Al-Shaibani (Master of Fine Arts), Khaled Mezina (Master of Fine Arts), Salama Nassib (Master of Printing), Hadia Badri (Master of Fine Arts), Said El Madani (Master of Arts), and Azim Ghossein (Master of Fine Arts), Fatima Uddinova (Master of Arts).

The Collective Exhibition will focus on rational consumption (the formation of Nad Al Sheba - November 5th to December 1st), highlighting the diverse use of sustainable materials in the UAE's current design practices.

The exhibition «Silent Noise» by Victor Citali (the formation of the house 10 historic Al Fahidi neighborhood - 10 - 28 November next) presents the latest Victor photographic work focusing on paintings and landscapes painted oil and acrylic. Victor, who was born in Zambia, has been hearing-impaired since the age of three and found a way to express himself through paintings seven years ago. His paintings are primarily created with oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as watercolors and charcoal on paper, and exhibited in exhibitions in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the Netherlands and Ireland.
