A 30-year-old woman sued her husband before the Family Court in Heliopolis, east of Cairo, and asked the court to remove her husband because of the damage she had suffered: because of her ban on his own Facebook account.
"I married a traditional marriage eight years ago from my husband and our life was normal until I found out that he was flirting with the girls and talking to them on social media, even though he has two children," Noha said.
"He is sick of adoring girls when I watched his conversations with the girls, he banned me on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, until he completed his betrayal of me, and I asked him for a divorce," she said.
She said that she had spoken to him several times in order to convince him to stop confronting Facebook and to establish many women's relationships, taking advantage of the physical ability to spend them and stay with them at nightclubs, causing psychological abuse as his wife and mother of his two children.
