It measures just over 170 centimeters, it never does makeup and almost always wears flat shoes. Alba Galocha is a supermodel apart from the topics of the profession. Perhaps it is because of this exceptionality, so it parades regularly on the most sought-after catwalks of the national and international scene. It has been the image of firms like Loewe or Louis Vuitton , although fashion falls short. "In each parade I became a person I was not," he acknowledges. From there he went on to interpretation. Recently he has shot 'The Spanish Princess', a series that tells the life of Queen Catalina de Aragón, and Néboa, a thriller set in the Galician carnival that will premiere in a few months on TVE. However, the name of this multifaceted artist agrees with any discipline. In fact, at the end of April he presented his first exhibition at the La Fábrica cultural center, Prohibited Mariscar de Todo, in which he mixed several techniques and showed that his artistic ambition has no end.

What do you prefer, pose or act? The interpretation. Working as a model is fun, but in my case I felt that fashion photography fell short because I had more things to tell. In 'The Spanish Princess', a British-American television series that tells the life of Catalina de Aragón, you give life to Juana la Loca. How has it been to get into the skin of a historical character? It was wonderful, although it was rare for Juana la Loca to speak with her sister, Catalina de Aragón, in perfect English ... At the time they called her crazy but, if you think about it from the perspective of our day, you realize which was the most intelligent and advanced of all. What other figure would you like to play? Marie Curie. Your latest work is 'Néboa', a thriller set in the Galician carnival that will be broadcast in a few months on TVE. Yes, it is A little drama. When the first chapter ends, you suspect all the characters. In addition, I think this series is a good example of how public television is adapting to new formats, where the series look like quality movies. The series has been shot in Galicia, land of legends and meigas. Do you believe? In the villages these stories are always present. It seems that there is something that can change everything and it is not up to you. I don't believe much in those things, but I would never play with it. Do you have any talisman? Music is what helps me most, but it has nothing to do with suggestion. The series has been shot in your land. What do you recommend visiting outside the usual tourist route? The coast of La Coruña where we have been recording: O Barqueiro, Ortigueira, the Semáforo de Bares hotel, which has amazing views. Foz, in Lugo, is also very beautiful and brings back many childhood memories. I still go a lot.Ceramics, sculpture, photography ... It is difficult to fit in a single discipline, but with what artistic techniques do you stay? With painting and embroidery. What is your favorite accessory? A little card that I made myself long time ago. What accessories are going to succeed this season? The big earrings. Now the motto is no longer present less is more in jewelry. Colors, shapes and fun prevail. Where do you usually buy them? I make them myself or I buy them from my friends. Booties or boots? The first ones. What book do you have right now on your bedside table? One that gave me my Father: Eva Luna, by Isabel Allende. What is your most repeated phrase? Don't let the monsters around you catch you and change you. My brother wrote it to me in a book he gave me for Christmas a long time ago.
