Apple continues to incorporate big names from the Hollywood industry to its next streaming platform. Alfonso Cuarón , Oscar-winning director of Rome or Gravity , will develop television projects exclusively on Apple TV +. Gabriela Rodríguez , her partner in the production company Esperanto Filmoj, will manage the company's day-to-day life. And Cuarón will maintain its previous agreement with Anonymous Content for certain projects, it is understood that film.
According to Variety , this agreement marks the return to television of Cuarón, who has developed most of his career in film but has also created the series Believe and La horamarca , in the United States and Mexico respectively.
Cuarón's latest film, the acclaimed Rome , won three Oscars: best non-English speaking film, best director and best photography . In it the Mexican filmmaker served as director, screenwriter, producer, editor and director of photography. Apple TV + will debut on November 1 in 100 countries, and its price will be 4.99 euros per year or free for one year for those who buy a device from the company. To fatten its catalog, the technology giant will invest 6,000 million dollars in content .
