German prosecutors have decided to confiscate expensive parrots and put them up for sale at auction after accusing its owner of fraud and declaring his bankruptcy illegally after spending his money in a strange way!

Prosecutors in the eastern German city of Dresden on Friday (October 11th) confiscated 36 parrots from a construction company owner, after authorities decided to auction the birds urgently as there is a high demand and interest in buying them by bird lovers. Prosecutors said the birds - eight ordinary parrots and 28 other kakato - cost about 100,000 euros.

The owner of the bird, who owns a construction company, is currently under investigation for alleged fraud and bankruptcy. The prosecutor explained that the man entered into contracts with at least four construction companies for the purpose of repairing buildings and construction of new buildings and obtained the necessary funding for these tasks in advance.Instead of developing a plan for the project or the implementation of the required construction, the owner of the company transferred more than 400 thousand euros to his own account.

Prosecutors believe that the money was used to buy the birds, each registered with the authorities, and the German authorities also confiscated a luxury car worth 40 thousand euros and cash with the owner of the company. If the owner is found guilty, these beautiful birds will be auctioned and paid to those affected by their bankruptcy.
