The day before, at the New York airport, State Duma deputy Inga Yumasheva was detained and subjected to humiliating interrogation by FBI employees.

The Russian parliamentarian followed the Fort Ross inter-parliamentary socio-political Russian-American forum as the coordinator of the delegation of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. That is, the person is quite official and in execution.

What happened in New York, what attracted the attention of FBI employees, and how did we get to the point where our deputies were already searched and interrogated? What to say about mere mortals!

So, Inga Yumasheva represents the Republic of Bashkortostan in the lower house of the Federal Assembly. Despite her young age - she is 34 years old - and despite belonging to one of the most respected names in the republic, Inga made an excellent career in the capital’s television and radio journalist (our colleague in the holding and radio "Vesti FM"), several years ago she brilliantly graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry and, finally, in 2016 she was elected as a deputy of the State Duma at the head of the regional list of the United Russia party from her native Bashkiria.

In the Duma, Inga joined the committee on international affairs and was engaged in inter-parliamentary relations, including with American congressmen.

And such a reception in the USA! Of course, the Russian embassy sent a note of protest to the State Department in connection with such unacceptable actions by the American authorities. And Inga Yumasheva flew back to Moscow today. However, there are more and more questions in this matter ...

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin demanded an explanation from the US authorities: “Why are these interrogations? Why was the FBI present in this situation? We would like to receive answers to this and much more, including with her participation, after which I do not exclude that we will consider this issue at the Council of the State Duma. And if necessary, we will take certain steps to prevent this from happening in the future. ”

Volodin added: “After such provocations, absolutely no one has the desire to go on a business trip (to the United States), even if you, as Yumasheva, have devoted yourself to friendship, cooperation, and building good relations between the two countries.”

Frankly, this is the first such precedent with the participation of an official status person in the performance of duties. The precedent, it must be said, is extremely alarming. This was announced on Monday, October 7, in the Kremlin.

Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he considers such actions against the Russian deputy unacceptable.

“This is very disturbing information, it certainly causes us deep concern. All the necessary demarches from our Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been taken, ”he added.

Of course, it used to happen that foreign intelligence agencies behaved in a similar way to our citizens. Colleagues and political analysts have more than once been detained on arrival, interrogated and deported with a ban on visiting the country for 3-10 years. Moldova is a champion in such stories: there when Vladimir Plahotniuc was in power, more than 200 Russian journalists, political scientists, and politicians underwent a humiliating procedure. The Baltic countries still have this practice. Poland, taking advantage of access to Schengen bases, "nongrati" Russian citizens objectionable to it almost throughout Europe.

But that is journalists and experts. With regard to the current deputy, such a story for the first time. And we can assume that, following the example of the main country - the hegemon, the special services of other countries will now act this way, where the star-striped flag is respected higher than their national one. The meaning of such an action is a demonstration of strength and at the same time humiliation of the guest. The provocation of retaliatory actions of this nature can lead to even greater degradation of relations, the final destruction of the system of international law. Who is next for the execution? Diplomats?

Russia will answer - and, apparently, soon. The answer will be asymmetric and sensitive. According to one version of observers, the demarche of the American intelligence services against the Russian deputy is a kind of setup ... of President Trump. An attempt to introduce again into the context of the struggle of the establishment with the 45th president of the United States the Russian map. Ukrainian turned out to be rather weak, and Ukrainians themselves Kiksanuli, without really starting to do anything. It's no secret that the relationship between Trump and the national intelligence services did not work out, moreover, these relations can be called hostile. Like last time, when theories were put forward about Russian interference in American elections, today the special services are the main suppliers of "information" to Congress regarding the impeachment of Trump. The procedure is almost already running.

It seems that in this domestic political struggle, the United States is ready to spread around itself the entire system of international relations, which has developed over the past 70 years.
