Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) has chosen Blas Cantó as the representative of Spain at the 2020 Eurovision Festival, which will be held next May in Rotterdam.

The one who will be representative of Spain in Eurovision 2020 has assured this Saturday in the news of TVE to feel "very lucky" and has advanced that, being the whole year composing, already has "many written songs", although it will follow his style of music.

Blas Cantó has been selected internally by the RTVE management, a method that had already been used when Pastora Soler, The Dream of Morpheus and Edurne were chosen as representatives of Spain in the contest.

Eurovision 2020 will be the 65th edition of the contest that will be held on May 12, 14 and 16 at the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam. It will be the first time that the city hosts the event and the fifth one that takes place in the Netherlands.

Among the names that sounded louder, those of singers Ruth Lorenzo and Diana Navarro stood out, although this Saturday Twitter also echoed the possible candidacy of David Bustamante to go to Eurovision 2020.
