The State Security Department of the Federal Supreme Court in its session yesterday issued its verdict in two security cases.

In the first case, the 45-year-old GCC national, AAA, was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment on charges and confiscation of the seized communications equipment used in the crime and his judicial expenses. Al-Nusra Front and Al-Qaida terrorist organizations were given money to help them achieve their terrorist objectives, knowing the truth, purposes and objectives of the two terrorist organizations.

According to the indictment, he also cooperated with a secret organization banned in the UAE, where investigations showed that the accused had contacted elements of the banned secret organization and transferred money to its fugitive members outside the state to ensure its continuation, as indicated in the prosecution's investigations.

The indictment stated that the aforesaid member has committed a felony that contravenes articles of Federal Law No. 7 of 2014 and its amendments in the fight against terrorist crimes.

In the second case, the court sentenced the two "ARS", "AAA" and "ARL" Gulf nationals to three years imprisonment each and fined each of them. 50,000 dirhams, the punishment of the Gulf "SSA" for 7 years imprisonment, the confiscation of weapons and ammunition seized with the accused and the confiscation of communications equipment used in the crimes committed and obliged them to judicial expenses.
