The film tells about the life of Gandhi, the principles and the struggle for the independence of the country, about the famous "salt march" that changed the course of history.

Viewers will hear the memories of the only surviving Gandhi's comrade-in-arms - his personal secretary Kalyanam, who worked with him for the past several years and was there at the time of the murder.

The film also presents the stories of the followers of Gandhi who try to live in accordance with his philosophy and talk about the need for a spiritual revolution in the world.

In July, RTD and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) presented a fragment of the joint documentary film Wild and Free, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the foundation in Russia.
