Royal Air Maroc on Monday found a dead body belonging to a man from sub-Saharan Africa in a wheel depot of one of its aircraft as it landed at Casablanca airport from Conakry.

The man was killed shortly after he sneaked into the wheel store on Monday night as the AT 526 was preparing to take off from the Guinean capital's airport to the kingdom's economic capital, the company said in a statement.

The man infiltrated the runway at Conakry airport in violation of applicable safety rules and then hid in the landing gear store.

According to the statement, the body of the man was found as soon as the plane landed at Mohammed V airport at dawn on Monday, noting that the authorities opened an investigation into the incident.

When the aircraft flies at an altitude of 10,000 meters between the outside temperature between 50 and 55 degrees Celsius zero and zero oxygen, unlike in the case inside the aircraft, the wheel store is not equipped with means of heating or oxygen.
