The Journal of Modern Pharmacies reported that there are types of allergies not known such as allergy to wool and allergy to red meat.

The German magazine explained that the sensitivity of wool is caused by lanolin, which is also found in some medical products and cosmetics. Symptoms of this allergy are redness, itching and eczema about 24 to 48 hours after use.

In some people, red meat can cause an allergic reaction, such as skin redness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and nausea, due to the so-called alpha-gal sugar molecule. A special blood test is performed to check for the presence of alpha-gal antibodies in the blood.

Doctors advise patients with allergies to stay away from the etiology as much as possible, but when exposed to these causes may help preparations containing antihistamines thanks to its palliative effect.
