“The whole team from Netflix has been fantastic. From our first pitch meeting to the premiere of 'Stranger things 3', which gives us the kind of support, guidance and creative freedom we've always dreamed of. We look forward to telling many more stories together - and of course we will start by returning to Hawkins, ”the Duffer brothers said in a press release.

The latest season of the nostalgic sci-fi series premiered on US National Day, July 4. "Stranger things" then set a new record for the platform. Within four days of the release, 41 million users had started watching the series.

At the same time, Netflix announces that it has tied the two twin brothers together and entered into an agreement that means they will continue to create both series and movies for the streaming service.
