Yemeni rebels Houthis unveiled on Sunday (September 29th) footage of what they claim is a major attack on the Saudi military on the border with the Saudi province of Najran.

According to the group backed by Iran, there are strikes against Saudi tanks and soldiers who surrender. Saudi Arabia has not reacted yet regarding this attack, while the images have not been independently authenticated.

On Saturday, September 28, the Yemeni Houthi rebel movement announced the capture of "thousands" of Saudi soldiers, including officers, and the seizure of "hundreds" of armored vehicles in the same attack.

A Houthi military spokesman said on Al Shiite rebel television channel Al Masirah that "three enemy brigades" had fallen during the operation, with the support of drones and anti-aircraft batteries, among others.

Thousands of soldiers from the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen were captured, including "many officers and soldiers of the Saudi army," he said.
