Putin also said that the Lenkom Theater and all Zakharov’s work is a unique phenomenon in Russian art, as well as a symbol of the highest artistic culture and bold innovation.
He noted that the blessed memory of Zakharov, an outstanding master and creator, will be preserved forever.
The Kremlin said earlier that Putin would soon send a telegram to Zakharov’s family and friends.
Mark Zakharov died on September 28 at the 86th year of his life.
