Mexican singer-songwriter José José died Saturday at a hospital in Homestead, in Florida (United States), at 71.
The singer's family, whose state of health had worsened since he announced that he was suffering from pancreatic cancer in 2017 , confirmed the news through the image of a black crepe on social networks.
Born in Mexico City on February 17, 1948, José Rómulo Sosa was known as "the Prince of the song" and considered one of the most important artists in Mexico .
