In Moscow, at the 86th year of his life, the Soviet and Russian director Mark Zakharov died. People's Artist of the USSR for more than 45 years led the capital's Lenkom Theater. Among Zakharov’s most successful works are the performances “Juno and Avos”, “Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro”, “Star and Death of Joaquin Murieta” and “The Cherry Orchard”. Films in which he acted as the director of the production are recognized as classics of Soviet cinema - “An Ordinary Miracle”, “The Same Munchausen” and “12 Chairs”.
