The Art Foundation for Promoting and Supporting Media Art for Children and Young People, the organizer of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, has revealed the names of the members of the jury for the seventh session of the festival, which includes 18 artists, critics and specialists who will evaluate the cinema works participating in the festival during the period. From October 13 to 18 at Al Jawaher Center for Events and Conferences.
The committee includes a number of artists, film directors, and influential celebrities on social networking sites, from a number of Arab and foreign countries, namely the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Japan, France, Canada, Britain and Syria. The judges will discuss the nominations for the festival's awards, which are divided into seven categories: children's and emerging films, Gulf short films, international short films, animated films, documentaries, feature films and student-made films.
