Both cases occurred near the city of Severobaikalsk in Buryatia. The first - on Monday, September 23, at 19:31 (14:31 Moscow time), the second - on Tuesday, September 24, at 3:38 (22:38 Moscow time on Monday).

In the village of Baikalsky, located 17 km from the epicenter, 5-6 points were felt during the first push and 4-5 during the second. In the city of Severobaykalsk, which is 37 km north of the epicenter, recorded 4-5 and 3-4 points, respectively.

Earlier it was reported that an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 occurred near Kamchatka.
