A Chinese blog with cooking videos has killed a teenage girl and injured another.
She devised a way of making popcorn with alcohol, imitated by two girls, one of whom burned and the other suffered deep burns.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the famous Chinese YouTube star, called "Yeha," for providing clips of the preparation of alcohol popcorn and said that "black day in my life," after it caused the death of a teenager and wounding another.
The star agreed to pay compensation to the families of two girls who tried to imitate the way Popcorn was shown in a video, but one of the girls died burned (14 years), and the other injured (12 years).
The 25-year-old blog is very popular and has 15 million followers on social media, including 7 million on YouTube only, offering controversial recipes.
The two girls tried to imitate a recipe for popcorn using alcohol provided by the famous blog in a video that was later deleted, but the two flames caught fire, one of them died of her wounds, and the other needs plastic surgery.
