Four years that Rose had not released an album. The author of The List is back with a new record (released September 20), but also a book (released October 3). Both have the same name: Kerosene . A double project led front and in which the singer indulges enormously. She tells about her addictions to drugs and alcohol. The singer wanted to put everything flat and tell its truth, as she explained in The wild equiped Europe 1.

"I wanted it to shine, to live very hard"

Now freed from her addictions, Rose can talk freely. The wave of success that accompanied her after the release of her album in 2006 was not without consequence. "Self-destruction brings a surplus of life, I wanted it to shine, to live very hard," she says. In the song A beer, a croissant , she recounts the permanent hangover and the aftermath of the evening.

Kerosene was at first only a book. "It was the starting point of the project and it was not intended to be published, I wanted to write all that I had lived for myself, I needed to tell the truth because I had so much lied for all these years, "she says. Finally, the music will be added to the biography and each song corresponds to a chapter of the book.

Far from drugs now, Rose evokes the subject bluntly. "It's easier to talk about it when it's over," does not hide the artist.
