WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Women use their mobile phones on average about 4 hours and 42 minutes a day, or 71 days a year, according to a survey by Britain's Daily Mail.

Men use their mobile phones for three hours and 49 minutes, nearly two weeks less than women spend each year, the report said.

The study, conducted by "Tech Watch", revealed habits related to the use of mobile phones, where Londoners spend about five hours to respond to e-mail and messages and update pages of social networking sites.
