A power generator set up in police for a traffic light arrested on suspicion of stealing a man September 20 22:39

In Narita, a man in Narita City was arrested for stealing a generator set up by the police to move traffic lights in a district where power was lost. In Chiba Prefecture, there are more than 10 cases where the generators installed in traffic lights are stolen, and the police are investigating the crimes.

Arrested by Yoshida Minoru (38), a self-proclaimed farmer in Narita City.

According to police investigation, suspect Yoshioka was suspected of stealing a generator installed by the police to move traffic lights in the area where power was lost in Shibayama-cho, Chiba from 18th to 19th.

Nine other generators were found from Yoshioka's home, and the investigator stated that he had stole it for collection.

In Chiba Prefecture, there are more than 10 cases where the generators installed to move the traffic lights in the district where the police had a power outage were stolen, and the police are also investigating the offenses.
