- Bet: Editorial Unit launches BeStory, content strategies at the service of brands
Editorial Unit has appointed Martí Saballs deputy director of EL MUNDO with the aim of strengthening the newspaper's management team with a renowned professional in economic journalism.
Martí Saballs (La Bisbal d'Empordà, Gerona, 1967), until now deputy director of EXPANSIÓN newspaper , has a long professional career dedicated to economic information. Degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra and EMBA from IESE Business School, he began his career in Actualidad Económica -review of which he became editor in chief between 1997 and 2000-.
The journalist has extensive international experience , backed by his work as an EXPANSION correspondent in New York -from 1992 to 1997- and as content manager in Buenos Aires of the newspaper El Cronista and of the magazines Apertura and IT , linked publications, by then, to the Recoletos Group.
To his work as a journalist we must add the authorship of works such as Stories of an economic correspondent (Deusto, 2009), what do I do with my money? (Enienta, 2012) and Business Intelligence (Editorial Platform, 2015).
The staff of El Mundo incorporates Saballs to add with it a new vision to its commitment to quality journalistic information that characterizes since its founding, 30 years ago, the newspaper of Editorial Unit.
