South Africa is set to open the longest skyscraper on the continent next month.

The Leonardo skyscraper, located in the heart of Johannesburg's financial district, is 234 meters high and is within walking distance of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Bloomberg News reported. The skyscraper comprises 254 apartments, three floors of luxury penthouse apartments, five floors of offices, shops and restaurants.

The list includes the 10 tallest buildings in Africa, four in Johannesburg, three in Dar es Salaam, two in Nairobi and one in Lagos, according to Bloomberg.
