SVT's competition program Who knows the most has long been a fixed point in TV tableau for many quiz lovers. However, the program format, which has been broadcast since 2008 in slightly different forms, has now reached the end of the road.
On Wednesday, September 18, the very last program was recorded in the studio in Gothenburg.
- This is a program that has been in the box for a long time and that has been especially successful for many years when it was broadcast every day in SVT2. We know it has been a popular program, so often with quizzes that have been going on for a long time, says Peter Nylén, program commissioner for entertainment and lifestyle at SVT.
The last episode will be broadcast in MayFor the viewers, however, the flow of the question is not yet clear. The last program will be broadcast in the box first late spring, May 30, 2020.
According to Nyrén, the decision to close the program was made in connection with SVT's review of the program offering for the coming years, 2020.
According to Nyrén, the fact that Who knows the most can be ironed is solely due to planned tableau changes, and not to the quality of the program. There are also no plans to completely quit quiz in the box.
New question programs to waitAnyone who wants to continue rubbing the genic tubes in front of the box or screen also doesn't have to wait too long.
- Now we will be investing in new forms of quiz and knowledge-driven, entertaining programs. Exactly what title it is is not clear. But the intention is that it will start airing in the fall of 2020.
