Because the job of presenter is not easy. The newscast can be a source of surprises for journalists, even if the viewer sees only fire. On the other hand, Anne-Claire Coudray feels more nervous in the event of misspellings or pronunciation problems. "Sometimes, if I make bad connections or mistakes, I wonder if I can catch up or if I have to move on immediately because a JT, it goes very quickly," she says . "And then, over time, we learn that viewers forgive us without problems."
A dress code very worked
In a newscast, nothing is left to chance, not even the presenter's outfit. "I learned that it could be an advantage to change dresses or shoes," the journalist quipped, adding that viewers are, in general, very sensitive to his outfit. "This allows you to express a certain personality, unlike men, and then the outfit is also in tune with the news and the time of the week when the news is broadcast, whether it is the weekend or weekdays, "explains Anne-Claire Coudray.
Proof that viewers are attentive to her dress, Anne-Claire Coudray sometimes receives remarks from them. "Some viewers are betting on the JT credits about the color I'm going to wear," she says.
