The Italian photographer David Calori, in his exhibition opened yesterday, entitled "unknown places" in the "Concrete at Al Serkal Avenue" in Dubai, takes a special trip to unreal places, composite and assembled from real places that exist in reality, where he filmed many countries, exploring destinations A fascinating natural, and then combines areas and images, to give us new imaginative places, and with new fascinating tales.

Through his exhibition, the Italian photographer expresses the magic of exploration and continues until the imagination stops, entrenching through the exhibition the message of exploring the world with the naked eye, and not believing everything we see in photographs.

The exhibition, which includes 10 photos, ends today, the fruit of the Lufthansa Group's collaboration with the Italian photographer Kalori, in a campaign entitled "Say yes to the world", to urge people to explore many places through travel, and see them with the naked eye. In these works, the Italian photographer uses digital (B612) technology, through which he combines digital images and installs them together, to put us before the reality of each image in a special video, which can be seen at the end of the exhibition.

Legendary stories

This exhibition carries the viewer to fictional destinations, characterized by its superb beauty, each photo is a visit to two or three countries, and places are combined to some extent carry the same colors of nature, they look very homogeneous. What distinguishes the exhibition stories of the places that the Italian photographer chose to visit, including waterfalls in Argentina, or volcanoes in Hawaii, and castles, temples and rocks to mix them and invent mythical stories. Through this exhibition, the photographer motivates people to travel and visit new places, simulating their innate passion for discovering the magical diversity of the planet. The Sunset Gate in Iceland, located a few kilometers from Katla volcano, as the photographer called it, is taking a picture of the lava in Hawaii, where lava is still flowing from the ground, although a major eruption occurred in 2000. 1918 Large lava eroded over the years, resembling a double door today. Then he picked up the giant rock in Iceland, merging the two images indiscriminately.

From the volcano, Calori takes us back to history with the story of the Temple of Iluminati, which he assembled by portraying a cave in Portugal, as well as the building of Santa Maria Assunta in Italy. The religious building was placed inside the cave to depict an inventive tale about the temple built in 15th century by people of different social classes, considered by the Spanish Inquisition to be heretical. The photographer continues his novel about the temple as it has stood through the ages, and remained hidden even from the eyes of the residents of the Algarve region. The structure of the temple appears to be compressed between the rocks, and while the base lies on the rock, the upper arch penetrates the roof of the cave, making the entire temple stand without foundation. The Song Taizou gates are located in Wuhan, China, on the Blue River in China, which ended the period of the Five Dynasties and 10 Mamluks. This large valley, rich in dense vegetation, consisting of rocks up to 1,200 meters high, embraces a flowing stream. , With the closure of many tributaries of the Blue River. The photographer follows the imagined story that this area has become uninhabited, so there were no documents and pictures of this huge work dating back to 963 AD. The real portraits of this innovative landmark are two scenes, the first for the rocks carved by faces in Cambodia, and the second for a river in China.
