Modern love, Amazon prime video, October 18

Pure fiction is on extinction what it seems. Much of the scripted crime series leans towards real murder cases (The Murder of Gianni Versace, The People vs. OJ Simpson, The Act, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, etc.). Perhaps in light of the fact that dating programs like Gift at First Sight, First Date and Dating around have gone so well, even the romantic genre seems to want to base itself on true love. Modern love is eight episodes based on real stories and is inspired by the New York Times heart column of the same name. Anne Hathaway, Dev Patel, Tina Fey, John Slattery and Andy Garcia are some of the stars featured in the series.

Like its TV predecessor and the book, the series is intended as something for the whole family. See you at Rotas!
