Nissan SUV automatic brake suddenly injured, US authorities start investigation September 13 12:21

The US Road and Traffic Safety Administration has started an investigation on SUVs = multi-purpose sports cars sold by Nissan Motor in the United States, saying that there were nearly 130 complaints that the automatic brakes suddenly operated, and there were cases of injuries. I made it clear.

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Road Traffic Safety Administration has begun researching Nissan's SUV, a multi-purpose sports car “Rogue”, from 2017 to 2018, 550,000 units.

According to a notice published by the Road Traffic Safety Bureau, 129 complaints were reported that the emergency automatic brakes of “Rogue” were activated suddenly even though there were no obstacles ahead.

Of these, there were 3 related collision accidents and 3 cases of injuries.

The notice also informs Nissan of this problem, and Nissan is taking measures for customers, but it is said that safety has not been confirmed.

For this reason, the Road Traffic Safety Bureau analyzes the problem of automatic braking and investigates whether it will be subject to recall.

Nissan commented on this, “We have started to notify our customers to update their brake system software. We will continue to cooperate with the authorities in the future.”
