A delegation from the Emirates Today newspaper visited the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai to congratulate it on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Dubai Metro, one of the most important achievements of transportation in the Arab region. The delegation was greeted by Yusuf Al Redha, Executive Director of Corporate Administrative Support Services at the Authority, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Rawdat Al Mahrizi, and Head of Media Communications, Mariam Hassan Al Balushi. The delegation included «Emirates Today», the Executive Director of the Office of the Editor-in-Chief, Yousef Ahmed, Vice President of the Department of Localities Shaima Hanawi, and the first journalist Hanadi Abu Naama.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) was launched in Dubai in November 2005 to achieve a qualitative leap in the development of integrated and safe solutions for road systems and land and sea transport networks, in line with the economic development plans in Dubai and the highest international standards.
