Egyptian security forces have arrested director Karim El Sobky and his brother Khaled after seizing cocaine in their possession. The defendants are the sons of the famous Egyptian producer Ahmed El Sobky.
Security sources confirmed that during a security ambush in the Kasr al-Nil area, the ambush was surprised by a car with two drunk youths.
After the identification of the two youths, security officials immediately released a report of the incident and the seizures.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the two young men were among those attending the wedding of the young artist Ahmed Fahmy and the artist here Zahid in a luxury hotel near the security ambush.
The Qasr Al-Nile Prosecutor shall initiate an investigation with the accused, ordering the seizure of narcotic substances, and sending them to the criminal laboratory for examination and preparation of a technical report thereon.
Ahmed al-Sobki, the father of the defendants, refused to talk about the problem, saying only that there was certainly a misunderstanding or something wrong because the two sons did not drink drugs or alcohol. He also stressed that there is a very famous lawyer on his way to the prosecution to discuss the matter and find a suitable legal solution after it becomes clear whether the incident or not.
