A rare mask and helmet worn by villain Darth Vader in one of the first films of the Star Wars series will be on sale in Los Angeles this month, along with the glasses of the little wizard Harry Potter and other famous pieces of film.

The auction, organized by Profiles in History, will feature costumes worn by actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the movie Titanic, as well as a costume for Dorothy the hero of "The Wizard of Oz."

The Darth Vader mask and helmet are expected to bring the highest price for Star Wars holdings, with estimates that they will be sold for between $ 250,000 and $ 450,000.

"It's very hard to find any piece of the original trilogy," said Brian Chanis, an auctioneer.

Daniel Radcliffe's round-lens glasses in the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the first Harry Potter series, are expected to sell for $ 30,000.

It will also be auctioned by Sean Connery when he performed James Bond in the 1971 movie "Diamonds R Forever", estimated to sell for $ 600,000.

The auction includes 940 pieces, including other items from well-known films such as Elian, King Kong and Star Trek on September 25-26. It is expected to raise about $ 10 million.
