Egyptian actress Sawsan Badr has apologized for participating in the arbitration of the El Gouna Film Festival for performing knee surgery.
Sawsan Badr published a statement on her page on the social networking site «Instagram», stressing that it will not be able to attend the festival, because of surgery on the knee joint, noting that the reports of doctors «advised the need to adhere to complete comfort».
She added: «I regret to apologize for participating in the jury of the festival El Gouna for this session with all my thanks and wishes for the festival and its sponsors of success and success».
It is noteworthy that the third session of the festival El Gouna will start on September 17, and will continue until 27 of the same month in the Egyptian resort on the Red Sea coast.
