Fabienne Dulac, CEO of Orange France, explains on Europe 1 the origin of the conflict with Altice, which led to the suspension of the broadcast of BFMTV in particular. She salutes the step forward made Thursday by Alain Weil, but expects written commitments.

INTERVIEW

Another day without BFMTV - or RMC Story and RMC Découverte - for some 12 million Orange subscribers. Due to a financial disagreement with Altice, the operator cut the signal of the three channels at 9:05 am on Thursday morning. These are now close to 18 million homes, if we add the 6 million Free subscribers, who are private in particular the most watched news channel in France. This seems to be too much for Alain Weill, the boss of Altice France, who has extended his hand Thursday morning in a press conference. "We are in the process of formalizing these remarks by rewriting them. When we have formalized these writings, we will restore the flow," said Thursday morning on Europe 1 Fabienne Dulac, CEO of Orange France.
