Keikyu Line Accident Vehicle removal All finished September 7th 4:14
Work to remove train cars that were unable to move at the level crossing where the accident occurred was carried out overnight. According to Keikyu, all vehicles were removed by 1:00 am on the 7th.
At the site, a worker pushed the leading vehicle that collided with the truck by hand to move to the nearby Kanagawa-Shinmachi station platform. The vehicle was then towed into a nearby garage.
In the future, Keikyu will continue to remove trucks remaining on the site, confirm the safety of the tracks, and aim to resume operation around noon on the 7th.
