Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia has invited NATO members to introduce a voluntary moratorium on the deployment of intermediate and shorter-range missiles (INF). So far, NATO members "have not responded with consent."

Despite the arrogance of the NATO command, the gross violation by the American side of all existing agreements and the unilateral withdrawal from the treaties on which all global security was based since the days of the USSR, Russia continues to take steps to return the situation to the legal field. And this, of course, is a moral gain from the American side.

In order to voluntarily join the Russian moratorium on the deployment of medium- and shorter-range missiles, the American side would need to have goodwill, but this is just the strain on them. Either there is not enough will (which is strange when we deal with the Anglo-Saxons), or it is not good enough.

Disagreements on this score in the American elites themselves also affect: “getting along with Russia,” as Trump suggests, exerting stiff pressure (up to direct blows), as the neocons who hijacked Trump suggest, or softly, invisibly, enter using network technologies, gradually replacing values and cultural occupation, which the "democrats" insist on.

Representatives of all American “towers” converge in one (virtual, of course, because they don’t have a Kremlin): the American military-industrial complex is the holy of holies, the foundation stone of all American statehood, and its interests are literally above all. And although today in the United States there are already more than 40 million people living below the poverty line, the defense budget is $ 700 billion and will continue to grow. No one in America argues with this - neither Trump, nor his enemies are global democrats, much less neocons.

So it turns out that Trump seems to get along with the Russians and seems to call the main enemy of the United States not Russia, not China, not ISIS * and not even the Ebola virus, like his predecessor Obama, but the liberal American media. But in the interests of the military-industrial complex, it is necessary to discard everything that hinders the development of the American defense industry, does not allow creating, and most importantly, manufacturing and putting into circulation new medium- and shorter-range missiles - the most expensive in the world.

The American defense industry generally buys all the most expensive (it can afford a budget of 700 billion). For example, the most expensive Abrams tanks, for which $ 6 billion were allocated for modernization in 2018, and another $ 1.5 billion should be spent on upgrading only 135 vehicles in 2019. The most expensive missiles are the cost of one Tomahawk missile, as reported The media at the time of the missile strike on the territory of Syria in April 2018, is $ 2 million from the funds of American taxpayers.

Therefore, in this case we are talking not only about the threat that, by default, any rearmament of the American army is and even more so the withdrawal from agreements on limiting the use of certain weapons.

To a lesser extent, we are talking about exemption from restrictions on profit. From the huge US military budget, of course.

The INF Treaty held back not so much the American military capabilities: as long as Russia is strong and has the means to retaliate, the Americans will never turn up - neither with old missiles nor with modernized ones. The INF Treaty restrained the profits of those who feed on the American defense, and this is the lion's share of the American elites, including Trump himself.

Trump's paradox is that he really wants to get along (and he would have done it already if American globalists from the camp of the "democrats" did not hang under his feet). But in his mind, the desire to get along does not contradict the withdrawal from the INF Treaty, since here we are talking (in his understanding) only about profit.

The pragmatic businessman Trump, who cares for America (and not for the interests of the globalist project at the expense of America, like his opponents), wants to rearm the army, replacing thousands of obsolete Tomahawks with thousands of new, "very smart" and extremely expensive missiles. The most expensive. Prohibitively expensive. But at the same time, he is not going to fight, much less attack someone, but wants, on the contrary, to be friends and trade.

The problem (for us) is only that we don’t know who will be after Trump and what plans he will have for using (or not using) new, “smart” and expensive missiles. Trump will not - and the Americans will return again with their main principle: if it is possible to strike without receiving a similar retaliation in response, then they will certainly inflict it.

How they hit Japan with two nuclear warheads, how they bombed peaceful Belgrade, Baghdad, Tripoli, how they hit peaceful processions, weddings and funerals in Afghanistan and throughout the Arab world, how they destroy millions of civilians in all parts of the world where they are not able to respond accordingly.

That is why the cold, but forced, said by the lips of President Vladimir Putin: “Our answer will be mirrored” (but at the same time, of course, not so expensive) from Moscow. And this means that the new arms race is now threatening to ruin the USA itself, as it once ruined the USSR.
