True to the propaganda waste that, in the absence of management, characterizes the leadership of Pedro Sánchez, yesterday the acting president announced with hype and saucer an "open proposal of a common progressive program" . It consists of no less than 370 measures, some of them taken from Podemos's speech to pressure Pablo Iglesias and at the same time seduce his voter. But others, such as the explicit refusal to support a referendum of self-determination - as if complying with the Constitution needed to be guaranteed in an electoral program - expressly designed to remove the acquiescence of churches and bring the ballot box closer. Because to this purpose the electoral paraphernalia with which Sánchez appeared before a public delivered to answer his proposals between applause and applause responded.

To force the surrender of Iglesias -or to camouflage the leftist voters before, intending to go to the polls again, making it appear that the pact is really sought-, the acting president slipped a bait in the form of "high responsibilities" in institutions and organizations not subject to the Council of Ministers. That is, it says no to a coalition government but yes to the possibility that members of Podemos occupy positions in public companies or regulatory bodies, including a sort of ad hoc police station in the Ministry of Finance. Placements by finger in exchange for votes and a pilgrim office of follow-up of the pact through a commission in Congress and in the Senate: an offer barely compatible with the slightest institutional decorum, respect for the separation of powers or some sincere desire for regeneration . If Iglesias accepts, there could be an endowment . If he does not, Sánchez hopes to sell his unrequited generosity in the campaign. That is really the desired outcome from the beginning, after months of calculated passivity and humiliation to the "preferred partner".

In his speech, Sánchez struggled to adjudicate blame while insisting that "it is not a time for reproaches." It should not be, but to approximate positions and weave alliances with honesty in the interest of the general interest. The blockade, in the official version of the acting president, is the responsibility of all but the one to whom the King assigned the task of obtaining support for a viable investiture . And this will be the next election campaign of the PSOE if an agreement in extremis does not remedy it: in pointing out both the opposition and its partners in autonomies and municipalities for having forced the Spaniards to vote again. Meanwhile, the country remains in the most absolute legislative paralysis, the economy worsens and Sanchez's program insists on increasing spending and raising taxes .
